Product Details

Maintenance

A building which covered by color coated steel sheets shall be inspected regularly.

  1. Remove any loose objects such as other metal articles or loose fittings from roofs and rainwater system as soon as installation is done.

  2. Carry out visual inspection at least once a year. A thorough inspection should be carried out every five years.

  3. Check for cleanliness of the roof. Any dirt or soil can increase corrosion risk.

  4. Check the condition of capping and flashing attached to the roof. Any damages to adhesion could cause leakages, decay, and risk of corrosion of the roof component.

  5. Rainwater system shall be clean every year. Remove tree branches, leaves or any possible blockages that will lead to sagging and clog.
